Dane Valley Woods is teaming up with Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) in an exciting new partnership, to try and identify the extent of biodiversity on the site.
You can get involved with helping natural life experts and students to work out what flora and fauna we have on our doorstep, so come and see what you can help us to find!
On this occasion we will be meeting at the bottom end of Dane Valley Woods, on the mown grass area opposite the mini-roundabout (at the junction of Dane Valley Road and Kent Road, Margate). There is no need to book but please let us know if you intend to come along, as it helps us to organise refreshments and tasks.
Please wear a sturdy pair of shoes, and come dressed for the weather & scrabbling around in undergrowth. All ages welcome, under 16s to be accompanied by an adult. Kent Wildlife Trust will also be on hand with wildlife activities for small people, and information about their Living Landscapes project.
