Welcome to Dane Valley Woods
Dane Valley Woods is a community group that aim to create a woodland in a 13 acre site in Dane Valley. Take a look around our site to find out about the work of the group including:
- Tree planting
- Getting people outdoors and active
- Teaching people about wildlife
- Involving young people
- Having regular activities for people to get involved in
The woodland is sited next to Dane Valley Rd and the Dane Valley allotments where our headquarters and tree nursery can be found.
Dane Valley Woods regularly run events that everybody can get involved in from indoor talks to practical work days to fun activity days for all the family. The group has one practical task every month, usually on the last Sunday of the month but do check the events listings on this website to be sure.
